Negotiations
If you enter into collective bargaining negotiations with a union, you need every possible advantage. Negotiating skill can add to the balance of power on your side and maximize the benefits you receive in successful negotiations. But there is no substitute for experience. Effective strategies and tactics can only be learned through active involvement in hundreds of negotiations.
Labor Relations Institute has put together a diversified team of the country's best negotiators. They have handled first contract negotiations, renewals, and administration in a variety of industries, and have bargained with every union in the AFL-CIO, as well as independent unions. Our professional negotiators have never been found guilty of committing an unfair labor practice for failing to bargain in good faith or for surface bargaining. They will evaluate your existing labor agreement section by section, searching for opportunities to remove, expand, improve, or make tradeoffs that optimize your position.
For a free initial contract analysis simply e-mail us a copy of your existing agreement. One of our negotiators will contact you by phone to gain a thorough understanding of your objectives and interests before beginning their analysis. After the analysis is complete we will share our suggestions and recommendations about how you can get on track to a better deal.
